Allen, the son of Elizabeth (Payton) Allen, He was born in 1883. She was a resident of Grayson County, Kentucky when she died in Jefferson County, Kentucky at the age of 71 on January 9, 1956. She was buried in what is now known as the McGrady Creek General Baptist Church Cemetery west of Yeaman, Grayson County, Kentucky. She shares the same stone there with her husband George T. Allen, who died in 1969.
