She was a member of McGrady Creek Missionary Baptist church. Married to Carmey Layton Etter, deceased.
Survivors include three sons, James Carmey Etter (Sally Wilson), William Thomas Etter(Nadine Mahurin), Wilbur D. Etter (Joyce Wilkins), three daughters,Bonnie (Russell Ferguson), Delora (Edward Peerce), Mary Opal (Kenny Cronin), 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 5 brothers,Walker,Wayne,Mink,Stiley,and Mont Ferry,5 sisters,Luretta Allen,Carrie Oller,Mona Parks, Fannie McCormick and Dornia Kiper. Ora was the happiest when her children were all together.
Funeral services were held on Saturday November 9, 2002 at McGrady Creel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in McGrady Creek Church Cemetery.
