James A Kyger 74, of Lafayette died Sunday October 15, 2006 at the Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born January 24, 1932 in Danville IL to the late Taylor & Agnes (Elsdon) Kyger. He married Beverly J. Alkire on December 14, 1957 in Hoopeston IL. She preceded him in death on May 28, 1999.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Nancy Kyger-Merelli of Plano TX, Peggy Kyger-Finley of Dallas TX, and Polly Kyger-Reasner of Indianapolis; a brother, George Kyger of Lafayette, and 2 sisters, Alice Starnes of Crawfordsville, and Lucille Biava of Danville IL.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.
