FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT IOWA CITY
Services for Mrs. Florence A. Fukey, of Iowa City were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg and were conducted by Monsignor Donald Sweeney.
Mrs. Fukey, a former Guttenberg resident, died at 6:55 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 1982 at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center in Iowa City.
Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Harlan Fukey, Verdus Burr, Dennis Saeugling, Mike Saeugling, Eldon Saeugling and Clarence Saeugling.
The Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fukey was born in Guttenberg Jan. 13, 1895, the daughter of Mr. Stoeffler and Mary Biedermann Stoeffler. She was married in St. Mary's Church June 26, 1918 to Frank M. Fukey, who died July 14, 1976.
Surviving are one son, Harlan of Hot Springs Village, Ark., one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Arlene) Saeugling of Iowa City; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
