Our sympathy is extended to the family of Henry Briscoe of Sheridan who died Jan. 28 at the age of 62 in Youens Hospital.

Mr. Briscoe, lifetime resident of Sheridan, was born here Oct. 21, 1912.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Harley Fuller, and Mrs. Woodrow West of Sheridan, Mrs. George Ripper ( Should be Ripple) of Weimar and Mrs. Ples Holster of Yoakum; 2 brothers, Joe Briscoe of Yoakum and Jack Briscoe or Weimar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mattie Briscoe, 2 brothers, Alvie and Willard Briscoe, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Howard Spittler and Mrs. Rufus Schezelski.

Funeral servicew were held from the Mill-Bauer Funeral Home in Eagle Lake with 10 a.m. services at the First Baptist Church in Sheridan Jan. 30 with Rev. Wade Graves in charge of the services. Interment was in the nearby Cheetham Cemetery.
