The Rev. John Groth officiated and burial was in Philos Cemetery. Born in Breedlove, she was a daughter of the late David S. Downey and Ida Mae (Keller) Downey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson LaRue. Mrs. LaRue was a retired employee of the Allegany County Board of Education, having worked for 17 years as a cleaner at Bruce High School. She was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren.
