Please change maiden name to: Reade." According to Oscar's note, Mary is not the daughter of John Watts Gashwiler (1804-1872) and Louisa Margaret Schooling (1808-1888). He does not identify her parents however.
April 27, 2019 note from Karen Carter, "Father is Samuel Read and Mother is Nancy Baldwin. Samuel was born in Virginia about 1773 and died in Boone County Missouri on 11 October 1846. Nancy was born 1793 probably Kentucky and died about 1847 in Boone County Missouri."
