Mrs. Cathy Lee Miller was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on September 7, 1955, a daughter of the late Dallas and Oma (Root) Land.

Cathy was raised and educated in Indianapolis and attended John Marshall High School. She resided in Indianapolis until the family moved to the Elizaville community about 1985.

On July 12, 1974, she was married to Gerald Wayne Miller, in Indianapolis. Mr. Miller passed away on April 13, 2005.

Mrs. Miller spent her years raising and taking care of her children and looking after the well-being of close family members. She also had worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Lebanon.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Memberships: Lebanon Rock Church

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Shane Frazier, officiating.

Visitation is planned for Friday, June 13, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.

Interment will follow services at Browns Wonder Cemetery near Lebanon, Indiana.

Son: G. Wayne Miller, II – Lebanon, Indiana

Two Sisters: Ruby Cornett and husband, Mike – Brooksville, Florida

Diane Murphy – Indianapolis, Indiana

Two Brothers: Duane Land and wife, Wanda – Paoli, Indiana

Harold Land – Indianapolis, Indiana

Three Granddaughters: Taylor Sue Miller – Lebanon, Indiana

Madison Bell Coryell – Chatham, Illinois

Abigail Faith Wertz – Whitestown, Indiana

Deceased: In addition to her parents and her husband, Cathy was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Miller Clark; two brothers-in-law, Steve Murphy and Ronald Gene Miller; and a sister-in-law, Alberta Land.
