Kathryn M. Miller
SPRING GROVE - Kathryn M. (Markel) Miller, 86, of Spring Grove RR 5, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at her home. She was the wife of Andrew C. "Jack'' Miller. The couple had observed the 67th anniversary of their wedding on April 16.
The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Glenville RR 2. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 9, 1908, in Shrewsbury Township. She was the daughter of the late Robert R. and Lucy (Krebs) Markel.
She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, where she was a member of the Never Weary Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Miller also is survived by two daughters, Amelia C. Taylor of Elizabethtown, and Roberta M. Kepner of York; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucile M. Miller.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver, and by the Rev. George O. Butz, pastor of the United Church of Christ Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church.
