Former Carnegie Man Is Killed On California Street
Services for Marshall R. Luttrell, Modesto, Calif., long-time resident of Carnegie and Caddo county, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bob Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Carnegie cemetery.
Luttrell, 77 years of age, was killed early Friday morning while crossing a street in Modesto. He had just returned to Califnoria from a two-weeks' visit with relatives at Anadarko.
He had lived in the Carnegie area bout 20 years and had lived in Anadarko, where he operated a laundry. He left Anadarko in 1948.
He is survived by a son, Virgil J. Luttrell, Santa Monica, Calif., seven daughters, Mrs. Ona Johnson, Anadarko, Mrs. Frances Miller, Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Agnes Mattox, Farmersburg, Indiana, Mrs. Ruby Cargill, Amarillo, Mrs. Arvetta Berna, Manteca, Calif., Mrs. Clyde Martinez, Monett, Mo., and Mrs. Mildred Sanders, Cleveland, Okla.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
