"Loma Jameison, 73, old resident of Rossville, died Wednesday at her home in Rossville. Her passing came as a shock to neighbors and friends. Sweeping snow from the sidewalk in the afternoon she died from a heart attack. A neighbor, Mrs. Frank Dolezilek, who came out to sweep snow from her porch discovered Mrs. Jameison lying on the walk and hurriedly sent word to relatives. She was born March 10, 1871, in Blaine, Pa., and settled in Rossville, with her parents when she was a small child, residing here the remaining days of her life. She was married in 1893 to A.B. Jamieson, who died in July 1938. She united with the Rossville Presbyterian Church in her early youth and lived a consistent Christian thruout her life. She was especially devoted to her family and leaves many friends and loved ones to mourn her loss. She is survived by a son, L.R. Jameison, two daughters, Gladys Hook and Doris Adams, two brothers, J.R. Wilt and I.B. Wilt, two sisters, Mary Binns and Fannie Reser, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home in Topeka. Burial in Rossville Cemetery."
