Fredric Christian Edler died Saturday afternoon, February 24th., at one o'clock, after a short illness with pnemonia. He was born at Braemer Hafen, Germany August 14, 1818 and came to this country when nineteen years of age. In 1842 he was marries to Catherine Lindsley, to which union twelve children were born. Of this number there are seven left to mourn the loss of a kind father, they are: Frederick Haven; Matilda, wife of J. T. Frazier; John Levi; Lewis George; David Solomon; William Peter and Frank Fredric, all of whom were present when death came. Besides the children there are twenty-nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral service was held Monday from the German Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Giering, with internment in the church cemetery.
