Frank Edler, 85, Dies At Hospital
Death came last night to Frank Edler, Fairfield, who passed away at the Jefferson county hospital after a lengthy illness. His death came at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Edler had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill the past week. He entered the hospital Monday evening.
Last rites will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. E. A. Piper in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Frank Frederick Edler, 85, was born Sept. 9, 1869, in Jefferson county near Germanville. He was the son of Catherine and Joseph Baker. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county and had been a resident of the Fairfield community for the past 20 years, residing on route 4.
He never married, was a retired farmer and a member of the Lutheran church.
Edler was the last of a family of 11 children. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
