Willie Abner Wooldridge, 93, of Jamestown, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999 at Russell County Hospital. He was a farmer and a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Born in Russell County on August 30, 1906, he was the son of [Fettie] Blankenship Wooldridge and James Edward Wooldridge, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Shearer Wooldridge of Jamestown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Willie Wooldridge, Jr. and his wife Eulah of Russell Springs, and Ivan Edward and Dottie Wooldridge of Hodgenville; one daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Herlon Selby of Louisville; one brother, Felix Wooldridge of Jamestown; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. Interment was in Dixon Cemetery. Bernard Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
