EDGERTON Helen B. Hartzell, 92, formerly of 311 N. First St., Edgerton, WI, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at the Rock County Health Care Center in Janesville, WI. She was born on May 13, 1912, in Edgerton, daughter of Eduard and Anna (Schumaker) Ruosch. Helen lived her whole life in the Edgerton area. She was a longtime clerk at the Sprenger's Edgerton Store. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the ladies aid. She loved to go dancing. Helen is survived by a son, Edward (Marge) Hartzell; a daughter, Ethel Brown; both of Edgerton; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Lorraine Murwin, Alvira Arthur and Loretta Peters, all of Edgerton; a very dear friend, Lydia Dybevick of Edgerton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Albert, William, Edwin and Herbert; a son-in-law, Larry R. Brown; and an infant granddaughter, Leeann. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH, with Pastor Carl Seeger officiating. Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the church. The ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, Edgerton, is assisting the family.
