Paul is the son of Donald Cyrus Bruner and Omma Elizabeth Bingham. He was born in Albany Oklahoma (one of ten children) but spent most of his childhood being raised by his parents in Burkburnett Texas living on Harwell street. In 1929 he moved from Texas to Grants Pass Oregon where he worked in the lumber industry as a lumber grader. His parents and siblings remained in Burkburnett Texas. In 1932 he married his wife Eva Blanche Hopper in Medford Oregon. Near the end of WW 2 Paul enlisted in the U.S. Army where he worked as a Military Policeman. Paul and Eva had one child, a son. Paul was a member of the LDS Church and in 1991 he moved to Salt Lake City to be near his son and his grand children(8) and great grandchildren (33)and great great grandchildren (5). Paul was actively involved with young people for many years in boy scouting and he was also working in the Latter-Day Saints Temple Babtistry in Salt Lake City Utah. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Eva and after Pauls death in Salt Lake City he was buried with his wife in the Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass Oregon. Paul was a lifelong genealogist and spent years doing research on his Bruner and Bingham family ancestors (Thank you Uncle Paul for helping leave all of your family this valuable family history and legacy).
