Sandyville, Etta L. Maddox Elliott, 69, of Sandyville, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston.

She was born November 12, 1935 at Sandyville, a daughter of Lucille Angus Maddox of Sandyville and the late Holly Maddox. She was a homemaker, a member of the Jackson County C.B. Club and attended Drift Run United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Jonah Elliott; a son Steve Shriver, daughters Pamela Elliott and Joni Redman all of Sandyville;a brother Clellie Maddox of Sandyville, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at noon at Drift Run United Methodist Church, Sandyville with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Drift Run Cemetery. Friends may call today, September 27, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley and one hour prior to the service at the church.
