Mr. Price was the father of W. E. Price, owner of Southern Funeral Home here. He was also a retired farmer and member of the Dodson Baptist Church. He died in a Winnfield hospital Monday morning.
Interment was scheduled in Zion Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Surviving are his widow of Dodson; another son, Mack Artis Price of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lee Boyd of Asotin, Wash.; four grandsons and one great-grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Height of Farmerville, Mrs. Anne Page of Springhill and Mrs. Mae Howse of Kingsville, Colo.
