Mrs. Price, whose maiden name was Miss Ethlindy Riley, was married to G. W. Price, Sr. They had nine children, three sons and six daughters, two sons and five daughters now living. Mr. Price died in 1930.
Mrs. Price was born in Henry County, Alabama. She became affiliated with the Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church on July 9th, 1887, and ever lived up to the faith and teachings of this religion and was truly a good and noble
Christian woman.
She is survived by two sons, G. W. Price, Jr., of Dodson, and J. B. Price of Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs. Walter Kornegay, Mrs. Walter Hughes, Dodson, Mrs. Ben House, Jonesboro, Mrs. F. H. Paige, Chase, Mrs. J. L. Fox, Winnsboro. A number of grandchildren and other relatives survive.
Rev. Monk, the pastor of the Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church conducted the funeral services at 10 a.m., Wednesday. The remains were interred at the Zion Hill Cemetery.
