Iris Izora Adlesperger

Iris Izora Adlesperger, daughter of V.M. and Sarah A. Wertz, was born Sept. 17, 1885 at Dayton, M., and departed this life Nov. 4, 1963 at Sullivan County Memorial hospital at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 17 days.

She was united in marriage to Martin C. Adlesperger Nov. 28, 1906 who preceded her in death July 21, 1939 and to this union one son was born.

Surviving to mourn her departure are the son Vane D. of Forest City, Ill. Three grandchildren Thomas M. and wife of Harris, Mo. Sallie Zoe of Forest City and William J. of U.S. Navy. Three great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. L.A. Schoonover of Lucerne, Mo and Mrs. Ivah Newfer, Wichita, Kansas. One brother, Melvin W. Wertz of Bucyrus and 2 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends.

She united with the Center Grove Baptist Church in 1938 and was a member of W.M.S. of Center Grove Church.

Funeral services were held at the Center Grove Church by Rev. John Boyd, Nov. 6 after which she was laid to rest at the Brackett cemetery.
