Martin C. Adlesperger

Martin Caleb Adlesperger was born July 30, 1886, at Kimball, S. Dakota, departed this life July 21, 1939, at Centerville, Ia in St. Joseph hospital, aged 52 years, 11 months and 21 days.

He came with his parents to Missouri at about the age of one year. Lived the remainder of his life here, except about three years spent in New Mexico. He was united in marriage to Iris Izora Wertz, Nov. 28, 1906. To this marriage one son was born Darold Vane (newspaper error - Vane Darrel).

The deceased united with the Center Grove Baptist church, about one year ago. He is survived by his wife, mother, son, grandson, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Wadsworth of Laredo, Mo., Mrs. Roy Baxley and Mrs. James Altiser, both of Canton, Ill.

Mart as he was know to all, had many friends, was a quiet unassuming man, and will be sadly missed by his family and the large circle of friends.

Funeral services were held at Center Grove church by the pastor, H.M. Harmon, and assisted by Rev. B.E. Sinclair on July 24th after which the body was laid to rest in the Brackett Cemetery.
