Services for Walter Marshall Toles, 60, will be 2 pm Tuesday at North Frankfort Baptist Church.
He died of a heart attack Saturday at his home. Burial will follow in the family lot in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Woodford County.
A native of Franklin County, he was a heavy equipment operator with the state Department of Surplus Property, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Capital City Classic Auto Club, the Southern Knights of Central Kentucky and The Evergreen Baptist Church.
Surviving him are his wife Brenda Montfort Toles, of Frankfort, one son Timothy Toles, Lawrenceburg, three daughters Marsha Toles Smither, Simpsonville, Jenny Toles Howard and Michele Toles Howard both of Frankfort; five brothers Clifford Toles, Richard "Tubby" Toles, Donald Toles, Doug Toles and Wilbur Toles all of Frankfort; one sister Lucy Toles Crittenden, Frankfort; and a special cousin Major Toles of Frankfort.
He was the son of the late Ray Power and Jenny Louise Robertson Toles.
The Reverend David Smith will officiate.
Honorary bearers will be grandchildren Jared Toles, Amelia Toles, John Smither, Zachary Toles, Kameron Smither; Son in laws Eddie Smither, Kevin Howard, Michael Howard, daughter in law Melissa Holt Toles.
Active bearers will be Chuck Crittenden, Chad Crittenden, David A. Toles, Scottie Toles, Larry Toles, Mike Wingate, Michael Mitchell, David Gaines, and Francis Gaines.
Contibutions may be made to Kosair Childrens Hospital or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm today at the Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.
