A native of Franklin County, he retired from Schenley Distillers after 29 years of service. He was a member of Camp Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivior include six sons, Clifford (Dorothy), Richard (Tubby)(Donna), Walter (Brenda), Donald (Noma), Doug (Bonnie) and Wilbur (Shelly)Toles, all of Frankfort; a daughter Lucy Crittenden (Tom), Frankfort; a brother Oscar Toles, West Union,Ohio; a sister, Lizzie Updike, Stamping Ground; grandchildren: Shelly, Darlene, Tina, Marsha, Deven, Timmy, Jamie, Jenny, Chuck, Chad, Shannon, Michelle, Kristie and Rachel and great grandchildren: Brittany, Morgan, Megan, Ryan, Josh, Lauren and Jared.
