Norman Clifford Toles, 83, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, 20 Aug 2022 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born in Frankfort, KY on 8 Oct 1938, he was the son of the late Ray Powers and Louise Robertson Toles.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deven Denise Toles Brown, and brothers Walter, Richard "Tubby" and Wilbur Toles.
A 1959 graduate of Franklin County High School, Clifford was the owner/operator of Clifford Toles Plumbing, Inc. in Frankfort. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Farmdale Water District in Franklin County and was a member of the North Frankfort Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching television and was an avid UK fan.
Including Dorothy, his wife of 63 years, he is also survived by two daughters, Shelly Toles (Chrissy Jones) of Bagdad and Darlene Erwin (Tab) of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren Brittany (Chris) Beach, Morgan (Eric) Skaggs, Joshua (Emily) Brown and Lauren (Josh) Wells; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Kaden Beach, Carson, Macy, Nolan and Trevor Skaggs, Grayson Brown and Benjamin Wells; his siblings Lucy (Tommy) Crittenden, Donald (Noma) Toles of Frankfort and Doug (Bonnie)Toles of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday 25 Aug 2022 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg with Pastor David Smith officiating. A committal service will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
