Alma R. Riley Goings, died 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 95, a native of Mount Herman and a resident of Denham Springs. Visiting was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Leroy Shaffette. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mount Herman, at 1 p.m. Thursday. Survived by three daughters, Jessie Pepper, Jackson, Miss.,Bessie Barber, Mt. Herman, and Betty Jean Magee, Angola; five sons, Henry and Adrian Goings, both of Colyell, Milton Goings, Gonzales, Elton Goings, Livingston, and David Goings, Denham Springs; 34 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Arlie Goings; parents, Laura Berry and Thomas Riley; a daughter, Ethelee Morris; and a son A.T. Goings. She was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church.
