Abigail, wife of Dow B. Wemple, died at her residence on South Wells Street, Johnstown, at 11:30 o'clock Friday morning of pneumonia in her 67th year. The deceased was formerly a resident of Montgomery county, but has resided in Johnstown about ten years. She was an amiable and highly respected woman and leaves a large family to mourn the loss of a true mother.
Beside her husband she is survived by two sons, Edward and James, and four daughters, Mrs. George Travis, of Gloversville, Mrs. William Lottridge, of Berryville, and Mrs. Joseph Stoller and Mrs. Edward Quilhot, of Albany Bush.
The funeral will be held at the family residence at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the interment will be made in the Sand Flats cemetery.
