Douw B. Wemple, passed away from a heart attack after he took a fall. (According to The Daily Republican dated April 24, 1895, he was a carpenter working on a building on Clinton Street, Johnstown, near the depot when he took a step from the stairs to a sleeper, he lost his footing and fell to the cellar bottom sustaining injuries resulting in immediate death.)
