W. L. "Andy" Anderson, 91, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ernie Christie officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Andy was born in Mertens, Texas, to the late William Jefferson Anderson and Sarah Ethel (Carroll) Anderson. He was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ. He was also the owner of Anderson Motor Transport. Mr. Anderson was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his a son, W. L. "Rip" Anderson; four brothers; and a sister.

Andy is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Annette Brown, and Darlene Logan and husband, Bill; son, Weldon Lowell Anderson; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Dollins and husband, Charles, and Mary Ann Christian Weatherby and husband, James; brothers, Danny Anderson and wife, Joanna, Billy Anderson and wife, Jackie, and Wendell Anderson; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
