N.M. "Booster" Andy Anderson, 73, of Houston, died Sept. 22, 1996, in Houston.

Visitation services will be held today at Corley Funeral Home from 12-9:30 p.m.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dresden United Methodist Church, with Rev. Burt Miller officiating, assisted by Rev. Cynthia Lee,

Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Steven Anderson, Billy Hooper, Bobby Fitzsimmons, James Eddings, Fred Graves and John Henry.

Honorary pallbearers are Sam Wilson, V. V. Brinson and Buster Baden.

Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 27, 1922 in Hillsboro.

He attended Emmett High School.

Entered the U.S. Navy in 1945, training at San Diego, Calif. Served in the South Pacific.

He was a member of the U.S. Navy, Vet. of World war II and of the V.F.W. he retired from Camweron Iron Works.

He is survived by his wife, Annie South of Houston; son, Lyndon Maurice Anderson of Pinehurst; daughter, Thelma Joyce Fitzsimmons of Conroe; mother, Sarah Anderson of Waco; stepsons, Bacy South of Houston and Terry Damon of Houston; brothers, W. L. Anderson of Waco, W. H. "Dick" Anderson of Axtell, R.D. "Shorty" Anderson of Bosqueville, Danny Anderson of Hillsboro, Billy Ray Anderson of Corsicana, and Wendell Anderson of Houston; sisters, Peggy Dollins of Waco and Mary Ann Christian of Penelope; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his first wife, Polly Blake Anderson and father W. J. "Bill" Anderson.
