Mrs. Turner, 83, of Turner Community entered eternal rest on Friday, June 11, 2010 in Beauregard Memorial Hospital, DeRidder.
Naomi was a mother figure to all and never turned anyone away from her door hungry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Amie Bond; one brother, Ray Bond and two sisters, Dorothy Ardoin and Catherine Prestwood. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-six years, Ben Turner of Turner Community; two sons, Bruce Turner and his wife, Angela of Dayton, Texas and George Turner and his wife, Judy of Prairieville; two daughters, Elaine Hebert and her husband, Jeff of Arlington, Texas and Wanda Gilmore and her husband, Kevin of Sugartown; two brothers, Jack Bond and Robert Bond, both of Bond; one sister, Yvonne Reed of Bond; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
