Edmund was the adopted son of Daniel D. and Janette Corbett Faulkner. He married Martha Jane Keeney-Hornbeck on October 29, 1874 at Warren County, Iowa. Martha had been married to John S. Hornbeck and they had two children, Minerva and Charles, who became Edmund's step-children. He and Martha were blessed with four children. Herbert Franklin born 1875; Martha "Mattie" Belle and an unnamed twin born 1878, the twin did not survive infancy; and Hattie G. born 1881. Edmund was a carpenter.
Edmund was an adventurious man traveling to ply his trade to Iowa and Kansas and spent some time in The Yukon, Canada Territories, with step-son , Charles. He then returned to Washington state.
Edmund is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery but sadly the grave is unmarked.
