NEW PLYMOUTH — Austin Norman Faulkner, 88, of New Plymouth, died Sunday at an Ontario hospital after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 10, 1870, at Milwaukee, Wis., and moved to New Plymouth from Yakima, Wash., in 1917. He was married in 1898 to Mamie Willard at Tacoma, Wash.
Mr. Faulkner was a member of the Presbyterian church and the IOOF lodge.
Surviving are his wife of New Plymouth; two sons, Norman Faulkner of Puyallup, Wash., and Wallace Faulkner of San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Muriel Lesser and Mrs. Arnold Tuttle, both of New Plymouth, and Mrs. Willa Fink of Hillsboro, Ore.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services are pending at the New Plymouth Shaffer chapel.
