He was the father of Mr. Thomas H. Shields Jr., Transylvania, La , Mrs. Virgil (Anna Louise) Hahn, Henderson, Ky., Mrs. Fred (Carolyn) Fair, New Orleans, La., Mr. Ted Shields, Bloomfield, Ky.; brother of Mrs. Grace Tucker, Bloomfield, Ky.; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mr. Shields is at The Houghlin Funeral Home, Taylorsville Rd., Bloomfield, Ky. Funeral services Frl., Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. from Bloomfield Baptist Church with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
