Mrs. Allen died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, June 15, 2003, in White County Memorial Hospital, Monticello.
Born June 3, 1922, in Hodgenville, Ky., she was the daughter of Alta S. and Lydia E. Allen Constant. She was married Nov. 2, 1939, in Monticello, to William A. Allen, who died Feb. 9,1980.
Mrs. Allen attended Hodgenville schools. A homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara L. Robinson and her husband, Joe, Burnettsville, and Shirley Ann Minix and her husband, Landon, Hamlet; one son, Jerry Dean Allen and his wife, Barbara, Idaviile; one sister, Genrose Yocum, Logansport; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;
four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents; one daughter, Nancy K. Allen; six sisters; and too great-grandsons
preceded in death.
Pastor Keith Raderstorf will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Idaville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
