Aaron William Alcorn SR.
ALCORN, AARON WILLIAM SR., 77, of Louisville, passed away, Monday, August 25, 2008, at Baptist Hospital East, in Louisville.
A Baptist by faith, he was a member of the Local 89 Teamsters Union.
His wife, Violet Mae Collett Alcorn, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his two daughters, Deveda Kinley and Carletta Johnson; one son, Aaron William Alcorn Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Durham, Betty Jean Day and Alberta Dean; four brothers, Melvin Lewis Alcorn, Kenneth "KAP" Alcorn, Edward Alcorn and Albert Alcorn Jr.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Neurath & Underwood Funeral Home, 725 East Market Street.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be held noon - 8 p.m. Thursday.
