Mary L. "Sissy" Henning, 75, of Louisville, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. Her parents, Albert B. Sr. and Anna Alcorn, a sister, Jo McDaniel and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Losch, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Allen Henning Sr.; eight children, Barbara Losch, Dorothy "Sis" Holland, Judy Osborne, James Snell, Sandy Stewart, Sheila Atherton, Allen Henning Jr. and Sherry Prince; four sisters, Dorothy Durham, Pauline Dishon, Betty Day and Alberta Dean; five brothers, Aaron "Bub", Sonny, Kenneth, Edward and Albert Jr. Alcorn; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2003, at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. The burial will be private. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday.
