Carletta Denise Johnson, 56, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, May 4, 1967, to the late Aaron William and Violet Mae Alcorn in Louisville, Kentucky.
Carla was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was always quiet and laid back. Although she was a bit of a homebody, Carla always enjoyed gathering with the family for the holidays. She loved her UK Wildcats, and Elvis Presley. In her spare time, Carla liked traveling to Graceland, scrolling through Facebook, and watching some of the favorite shows like "Mom", "Catfishing", and "Bar Rescue", just to name a few. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carla is preceded in death by her parents, Aaron William Alcorn Sr., and Violet Mae Collett Alcorn.
Left to cherish her memory, Carla leaves behind 4 children, Tiffany Dahlgren (Norman), Timmy Ray Baize, Glenn Scott Johnson, and Alyssa Johnson; 6 grandchildren, Landon, Aubree, Violet, Derrick Jr., Marshall, and Bella; 2 siblings, Anna Kinley, and Aaron William Alcorn Jr. (Patty Jo); 5 nieces/nephews, Melissa, Michael, Nathaniel, Erica, and Erin; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service for Ms. Carletta Denise Johnson will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 7 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
