She was the daughter of David T. Jones and Ann Lewis Jones of S. Wales. The family immigrated between 1830-1834 to Gallia Co., OH. By 1840 they had moved to Jackson Co., OH where they lived until their mother died bet 1845-1850.
She married Thomas Robert Griffith abt 1853.
Their known children were: Elizabeth b. 1855, David b. 1857, Edward J. b. July 1863, George M. b. 1868 and Lillie M. b. Dec. 1880. The 1900 census indicates she had given birth to 7 children, only two of whom were still living.
