Harley B. Chambers, 61, 75 Sylvan Drive, Marietta, died Sep. 19, 1980. Funeral services were held at the chapel of Normal Medford Funeral Home in Marietta with the Rev. Marshall Reinhart and the Rev. Herbert Williams officiating. Burial was in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Chambers resided in Marietta for the past 26 years and was a member of Mary's Memorial Baptist Church and of Young Cane Masonic Lodge No. 57 of Blairsville.

Survivors include his wife Dottie Chambers of Marietta; sons Harley Lanier Chambers and William Lynn Chambers, both of Marietta; four grandchildren; his mother Rose Chambers of Blairsville; brothers Julius Chambers and Vernon Chambers, both of Blairsville, and Ulias Chambers of Michigan; sisters Flonnie Reece of Woodstock, Bonnie Harkins of Atlanta, Grace Stanislawski of Detroit, Betty Gray of Blairsville and Connie Ward of Maryville, Tenn; and several nieces and nephews.
