Horace Eldred, an aged resident of Allegan, died July 4th. He was a brother of Mrs. M. G. Higgins and Mrs. Fred Nelson of this place. Funeral was held this morning and burial was made in Mountain Home cemetery here. Mr. Eldred is survived by a wife and four daughters. For 58 years he had been a resident of Allegan. Bright's disease was the cause of death.
