Vivian married Ross K. Robison in Douglas on August 7, 1955 and they moved to Seattle, Washington shortly after their marriage. To this union were born three children: Karen, Brad and Gail.
Vivian worked as a nurses aid for many years in the Seattle area. She enjoyed the outdoors so they spent a lot of time camping in the mountains of Washington.
She passed away August 8, 1999 in Marysville, Washington. Surviving were her children, Karen Robison-Becker of Douglas; Bradley Robison of Everett, Washington and Gail Minor of Marysville; sister, Betty Alberts of Douglas, Wyoming; brother, Donald Tiedt of Corpus Christi, Texas and seven grandchildren; a step-mother, June Tiedt of Grant, Nebraska; a stepsister, Kathy Fowler of Wallace, Nebraska; and stepbrother, Nick Markos of Fort Worth, Texas. She was also survived by a sister-in-law, Luella Burback of Douglas; aunts Grace Wintermote of Douglas and Zella Ratliff of Lander, Wyoming; and all their families.

Vivian and her husbands ashes were buried together in the mountains south of Douglas, Wyoming at a relatives camping area. There is no headstone for either of them.
