Mrs. Martha Brumfield of the Water Holes community, died Wednesday morning of last week at the age of 76 years. In the death of Mrs. Brumfield, the community in which she has so long lived, sustains the loss of a most estimable Christian character. She was a consistent member of the Methodist Church and greatly loved by a large acquaintance. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. Andrew Davis of Tylertown. The deceased is the mother of Mesdames. T. G. Warren, J. L. Bullock of Water Holes, and Dr. Brumfield of Mammoth Springs.
