Eleanora Enderle, 89 years old, of Kelso, died Saturday, May 5, 1984, in Doctors Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff.
She was born Sept. 11, 1894, at Chaffee, daughter of the late Adam and Rufina Schlosser Schaefer.
On Feb. 10, 1914, she married Fred Enderle at Chaffee, and he preceded her in death in 1964.
Mrs. Enderle was an inspector for the former Buckstein and Ely Walker factories, and also was employed as a cook at the residence of Father Koester in St. Louis.
She was a memberof St. Augustine Parish in Kelso and the Ladies Sodality of the church. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Scott City.
Surviving are a son, Lester Enderle, Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Valarie McCal, Elkhart, Ind.; a brother, Edwin Schaefer, Sikeston; three sisters, Zita Hess and Hilda Enderle, both of Kelso, and Cora Spradling, Chaffee; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Four sons, one brother, and a sister also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, where Parish Prayers will be said tonight at 7, followed by a VFW Auxiliary service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Raymond Orf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
