Schaefer, 80 years old, died Tuesday, March 29, 1988, at Cape Girardeau Care center.
He was born Aug. 23, 1907, at Kelso, son of Adam and Rovena Schlosser Schaefer. He was a retired construction worker, and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Zita Hess of Kelso and Mrs. Cora Nordin of Chaffee, Route 1. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
