Chaffee - Miss Mathilda Mary Schaefer, 73 years old, of Chaffee died this morning at a hospital here.
She was born Jan. 24, 1899, at Kelso. She was employed several years by the Chaffee Manufacturing Co. retiring in 1965.
She was a member of the St. Ambrose Parish here and the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Surviving are a brother, Edwin Charles Schaefer; and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Enderle, Mrs. Edward Enderle, Mrs. Cora Seyer and Mrs. Joe Hess.
A Rosary will be recited at the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home here Monday night. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
