This is my great-great grandmother. For many years I believed that Elizabeth died December 15, 1894 simply because that is what is on her stone. However, I have found that date to be wrong. On March 22nd, 2007, I was looking at the Owen County Indiana 1900 census records and found Elizabeth listed with David. She was also listed as being the mother of 6 children with 4 living. I was shocked. I looked at the 1910 census and she wasn't listed in them. David was listed as being a widower. Based on the clues I think she actually died December 15, 1904.
