WILLIAM AST
Arsenal Villa - William Ast, 54, Arsenal Villa, Roy, died in a Salt Lake hospital Thursday.
Mr. Ast was born in Walnut, Iowa, October 12, 1892, and had been employed as a box maker at the Clearfield naval supply depot. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the army.
Surviving are his widow, Carrie Evelyn Berg Ast, two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Vauckney (sic) and Arlene Ast, and a son, Donald Ast, Roy; also one granddaughter and 15 brothers and sisters.
Services will be conducted Monday at two-thirty p.m. at 125 North Main, Salt Lake City, where friends may call Sunday until eight-thirty p.m. and Monday until time of services.
Burial will be in the Slayton cemetery, Slayton, Minn.
