OBITUARY OF ALICE MORGAN

Alice Bryan MORGAN, 80, of Claude, former resident of Perryton, died February 09, 1999 at the Palo Duro Nursing Home in Claude.

Funeral Services were held Friday, February 12 at the First Baptist Church in Claude. Graveside Services were held at Ochiltree Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home in Clarendon.

She was born October 26, 1918 in Gray, Oklahoma, and attended school at Bethany, Oklahoma and Perryton, graduating in 1937. She married Herman MORGAN on October 15, 1938 in Perryton.

They moved to Claude in 1949. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Claude, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. They moved to Canyon in 1992, then back to Claude to the nursing home in 1997. Her husband died in 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Marvin and Eula WATSON BRYAN; three sisters, Martha GARDNER, Besse FARRELL and Ella BRYAN; and one brother, Elmo BRYAN.

She is survived by one son, Marvin B. MORGAN of Austin; one daughter, Betty TRIPLETT of Canyon; one sister, Della BRYAN of Amarillo; two brothers, Reuben "Jack" BRYAN of Guymon, Oklahoma and Bill BRYAN of Balko, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
