Sometimes I recall how all those Redifer men looked standing together for their pictures to be taken, proud, tall, handsome and always smiling!
As told to Vern Odell in 1987 by Aubrey Redifer, when in his 80's Vernon began writing scripts for radio and, or T.V. but did not have any luck selling them. He asked my sister to type them for him as they were all handwritten.
After Vernon and Ada divorced in 1929, Vernon went to stay with his sister Virgia and her husband Floyd Craig and their two young children, he was still residing there in 1930. I don't recall ever seeing Uncle Vernon with anyone else. He never remarried.
His wife Ada Mae and my grandmother shared the same first and middle names and the same birth state Michigan.
