WYOMING -- Henry E. Cochren, 94, formerly of Wyoming, died at 1:55 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at Toulon Health Care Center in Toulon.

Born June 9, 1909, in Peoria County to Thomas and Katherine Behrens Cochren, he married Erabell Hunter on Sept. 16, 1942, in Wyoming. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Robert (and Connie) of Durant, Iowa; one daughter, Lillian (and Fredrick) Hoffman of Toulon; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Brooks of Kewanee.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers and one sister.

He was a welder at Aldrich Co. in Wyoming for 30 years before retiring.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wyoming Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Dr. Ted Snider will officiate. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Wyoming Ambulance Service or Wyoming United Methodist Church.
